I have a friend up here in Skagway that is really into the primitive lifestyle and survival skills. On our way back from a hike the other day he was telling me about his week long tracking coarse he took back in May. It immediately struck my attention so I started asking him more questions. He actually makes his own knives and other things like that, but he also just made his own bow and is now looking to start making some arrows for it.
I thought this was so cool and yesterday I got to take a look at his homemade bow that looked flawless. I just found it so fascinating that he was able to make this miraculous thing with so little tools.
