Tombstone Territorial Park

Tombstone Territorial Park; Mount Monolith

So I recently found a little fold out tourist map of the Yukon Territory, Canada, which is just over the Alaskan/Canadian border here by Skagway. I’ve always known their was plenty of outdoor adventures to be found up in the big ole’ YT but nothing has made me foam at the mouth like when I discovered Tombstone Territorial Park. I was just scoping over the map and looked up by Dawson City to see a small green area called ‘Tombstone Territorial Park’. My initial response was to just Google some pics of the park so I wasn’t really expecting much. To my surprise I was enchanted by a very wild looking place that called out to me very strongly. I immediately circled this place on my map for places to visit soon and showed my fiancee and she was just as fascinated over the place as I was.

From Skagway this raw land is just over 400 miles away and is very doable at the end of the season for a quick detour before we head south driving back to Utah or even doable next summer by taking a week off of work to adventure up north. Either way, this place is a must see for me and I thought I’d share this beautiful place with all of you as well. Google more pics to be inspired!!
